The PX model features an extremely slim design is less than 2 inches deep. This allows it to be mounted flush to your door or wall. You cut a hole only as large as the door panel itself, then mount your POWER PET door in front of the opening. You will find it is actually easier to install a POWER PET door than a conventional pet door and certainly easier than installing a "between the studs type door"

INTRUDER-PROOF POWER PET™ doors increase home security with a special, patented, automatic, dead bolt locking system that guards against would-be animal and human intruders. Other pet doors may claim to be raccoon-proof but, only Power Pet™ gives you a coded ultrasonic sensing system that is superior to magnetic, and infrared collar tags. AUTOMATIC CLOSE CONTROL: Your POWER PET PX Features a smart sensing circuit that keeps the door panel open as long as it is receiving the signal from your pet's collar. Once your pet has moved completely through the opening, the panel immediately closes. No need to adjust a manual timer. The POWER PET is smart enough to know exactly when it's time to close 

AUTOMATIC SAFETY RETRACT: Your POWER PET PX is intrinsically safe for all pets and people, including small children. The door panel weighs less than 2 lbs. and is closed smoothly by gravity (not the motor). It is too light to cause any physical injury. However, just to be doubly safe, we've included a unique automatic safety retract feature. This feature causes the panel to instantly retract if it encounters an obstruction during closure. Your intrinsically safe POWER PET Door will keep out the flies but it won't hurt them!

EASY TO INSTALL



Perhaps the best feature of the Power Pet door is that it mounts to the surface of your wall. It is not fully enclosed between the studs. This makes your Power Pet door install as easily as any conventional pet door. It does not require a larger opening. Just cut out an opening in your door or wall equal to the panel size. Install your POWER PET door with 8 screws. For wall installations insert the optional wall adapter tunnel. Install the pre-made outside frame with ten screws and your done! Most installations take less than 2 hours with the cut-out taking most of the time. Pre-fabricated OUTSIDE FRAME (included) gives a professionally finished look to any door or wall installation.
